On arrival to the Whitsunday coast, you will be transferred by air-conditioned coach to your accommodation – A unique style resort that captures the natural surrounds of the ocean and lush Whitsunday tropical forests. Set in a hidden valley close to Airlie Beach.

Begin your journey with a cruise through the Whitsunday Islands to Hardy Reef onboard our high-speed vessel, arriving at the reef around 11am. After lunch, guests can snorkel, dive, swim or take a scenic helicopter flight to see famous Heart Reef (additional cost). Day visitors depart mid-afternoon and then overnight guests have Hardy Reef and Reefworld all to themselves.
Watch a stunning sunset with a drink in hand before enjoying a starlit long-table dinner on the pontoon’s upper deck. After dinner, Reefsuite guests can retreat to the privacy of their undersea accommodation. Sit back, relax and watch as the reef comes to life through the floor to ceiling windows.
Reefsuites give a whole new meaning to ‘a room with a view’ and you’ll awake to see the marine life going about another day on the world-heritage listed reef they call home. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and an exclusive morning on the reef before heading home in the afternoon with memories that will stay with you forever.
Dawn on the reef is peaceful and unhurried. There’s time for some more snorkelling after breakfast – the reef is all yours to enjoy – or return to the underwater observatory and watch the reef come to life. After lunch, your Cruise Whitsundays vessel take you to Daydream Island.
One of the 74 islands in the Whitsundays, Daydream Island is situated in the heart of Queensland’s Whitsundays Islands and the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef.
The Living Reef is the main centrepiece of the island, a unique free form coral lagoon wrapping 200m around the central building and holding over 1.5 million litres of water. The Living Reef is home to over 100 species of marine fish, over 80 species of coral and a variety of invertebrates such as starfish, sea cucumbers and crabs.
The Resort offers a revitalised pool landscape that sweeps through the tropical gardens across the resort, allowing guests to swim and enjoy unparalleled views across the Whitsundays Great Barrier Reef along with unlimited access to a variety of non-motorised water activities.
From Daydream Island, journey across broad Whitsunday Passage and into this amazing tropical paradise – a scenic sequence of remote waterways and hidden bays. On the southern shores of Whitsunday Island, the largest of the 74 Whitsunday isles, famous Whitehaven Beach is a regular on lists of ‘World’s Best Beaches’. Wander along the sand, hike the short Solway Circuit for some show-stopping views, or cool off in the gently lapping water before your return cruise.
After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to this tropical paradise and head to the airport. Fly from either Whitsunday Coast or Hamilton Island Airport. Your launch transfer will take you to the airport of your choice.

Moored offshore at Hardy Reef, 40 nautical miles from Airlie Beach, Reefworld is the setting for your spectacular overnight Reefsuite experience.Relaunching in 2019, the revamped pontoon hosts day trippers, on-deck Reefsleep guests and a lucky few who’ll head below deck for a private, all-inclusive Reefsuite experience.
Reefsuite features Two underwater rooms available (king double or twin single options). Each room features premium bedding, glass-walled en suite and floor-to-ceiling views of the spectacular underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef. During your stay all meals including breakfast, morning and afternoon teas, lunch and a spectacular dining experience under the stars. All beverages including beer and wine (cocktails and spirits at an additional cost).
The refurbished Daydream Island Resort is located in the heart of Queensland’s Whitsunday Islands. The stylish and tranquil retreat offers modern rooms and suites with free WiFi and a full buffet breakfast. The resort features an open-air cinema, outdoor pools and three bars and restaurants.
All accommodation provides spacious rooms with a modern living area, air conditioning and a flat-screen TV with free in-house movies. Most feature a private balcony or terrace with views of the ocean, marina or tropical gardens. Interconnecting rooms for families and accessible rooms are available.
You can choose from a choice of restaurants at the resort including Graze, Inkstone Kitchen & Bar and an Asian Fusion restaurant.
Guests can take a stroll through Daydream’s rainforest walk or work out in the fitness centre. The property also boasts over 20 free on-island activities including kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and a public fish feeding show.
